This is the second of the fifteen volumes of Supplementary Despatches and Memoranda of Field Marshal Arthur Duke of Wellington, K. G., edited by his son, the second Duke of Wellington, and published between 1858 and 1872. The first four volumes cover the period near the beginning of Wellington's career, when the then Arthur Wellesley was in India, arriving as Colonel of his regiment, and returning a Major-General and a Knight of the Bath. Volume 2 begins on June 6, 1800 and ending December 11, 1801. During this period he was Governor of Seringapatam and Mysore, and dealt with Dhoondiah Waugh, including the Battle of Conaghul.
