She is haunted by the memories of her mother's drowning in the Gulf of Mexico when she was nine. Years later she searches for a future and a way to end the panic attacks driven by her past. Zydeco music, Oyster Pie, Mardi Gras, Hurricanes, the Attakapas Indians, and Bayou life are all part of her story. Will she find her unknown father? Will she find peace? Will she find love?
