Lessons from the Life of Nephi George Reynolds

This serial was originally published for the "Juvenile Instructor"-15 April to 1 October 1891-a product of George Reynolds' (1842-1909) literary skill and pioneering Book of Mormon studies. Previously, Reynolds oversaw the cohesive printing of his two serials written initially for periodical prints ("Are We of Israel?" and "The Book of Abraham: Its Authenticity Established as a Divine and Ancient Record"). His later serials were never collected and given cohesive editions in his lifetime-some having remained uncollected even until now. At this point, it's difficult to conclude that he had this end in mind for "Lessons from the Life of Nephi," "The Jaredites" and "The Gospel in Ancient Britain."This cohesive printing marks the 130th anniversary of "Lessons from the Life of Nephi."
