The first love is always the most remembered and the one that leaves the most traces in every human being, Carlos was not the exception. He was a young Latino boy living the American dream like many others of his age; he hoped to find the love of his life in those distant lands as some of his friends had already found it. What he never imagined was that the paths of true love were rough, dark, deserted, and full of traps. His destiny, far from being a bed of roses, became a coming and going of events marked by death and the desolation of loss. On his way, he had to kiss many toads trying to find his dreamed prince, but while he succeeded, he enjoyed the momentary pleasures of his fleeting lovers and the intense taste of coffee helped ease the agony. Life was not like in the fairy tales he had heard since he was a child, but would he be able to conquer his heart and find that diamond in the middle of thousands of stones?
