This book could be viewed as a devotional to help bring a sense of understanding of the sovereignty of God and that everything He does will work out for our good. My prayer is this book will help restore the Joy of our Salvation and examine the various scriptures found in the Bible that can bring us peace and joy, even amid this global pandemic. In these times of uncertainty, understanding joy will help get us through difficult times and open our hearts to experience the heart of God. True joy is not about acquiring anything, but rather about opening to the natural joy and aliveness right inside of us. Dr. Wayne A. Lawson is the Senior Pastor of the historic First Baptist Church, Ardmore, OK. He and his wife, Michelle, are both educators and life-long learners. Dr. Lawson is committed to educating the body of Christ. He is currently an instructor at Gateway Seminary and former Associate Professor and Chair of the Adult School of Public Administration at Mid-America Christian University both in Oklahoma. He has been in ministry for over 37 years. He and Michelle have been married for 39 years and have three adult children and 11 grandchildren that keep them busy.
