The Golden Arrow of Aedan mac Ginnis is missing from the Emerald Tower of Reagan Rock. One of the many safeguards that seals gateways between realms. And the tower, itself, has disappeared from the northern shores of Malin Head. Now every kingdom throughout Ireland is experience strange and mysterious occurrences and every kingdom is searching for the stolen ancient artifact. Letterfrack has sent its Master Magician, Mistress Ita, in search of the Golden Arrow. Along the way, she is met by a group of soldiers from Claddaghduff with Riona among them. But they soon go missing. Queen Eithne of Letterfrack, then, seeks the help of Mistress Ita's apprentice, Dáira. Along with Dáira's brother, Seamus, they are sent out of a journey to find the Golden Arrow, return it to Reagan Rock, and hopefully find their best friend, Riona. It is a journey that may prove to be more dangerous than they have ever faced before.
