The land of Avendia is rich with people from a multitude of backgrounds. Most of these stories remain separate from the others. However, when the forces of Satan rise to challenge the forces of Good, not only will they rise in turn, they will converge. The Orphan is one such story in The Convergence Series. What pathways do we take that irrevocably change the direction of our lives? Is there such a thing called fate, that which we cannot avoid regardless of our choices? And are we confined to the limitations of our birthright, even if our birthright is unwell? Or, if given the right circumstances, can we ascend to heights beyond what our capabilities dictate? Such are the questions regarding this small, sickly orphan of no regard and no consequence. However, perhaps it was his lack of consequence that made him the perfect choice.
