One of the reasons the study of the end times (eschatology) can be so confusing is that most of the discussion about Bible prophecy is centered around difficult passages of Scripture. But what if we were to build the foundation for our end times view upon the clearer passages in Scripture? What if, instead of building our views from the back of our Bibles (the book of Revelation), we began in Genesis?

This book does just that: it traces major themes which pertain to Bible prophecy from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. It also focuses on the clearer passages of Scripture, while not ignoring the more difficult ones.

When this method of building an end times view is employed, it leads, not to a new view, but to a view that was held by many Christians throughout history. In fact, the view advocated in this book was the majority view among American Christians from the 1600s to the 1800s. It's time to rediscover what our ancestors believed about the future of this world.
