Science fiction, space aliens (benevolent ones), cyborgs, mental telepathy. This is reasonably technically plausible material, with a few chapter end-notes about the real, known science. I (the author) have tracked, per chapter, the reading-grade level; they are mostly 6-7-8... Not hard to read, no giant, complex sentences, or not very often. But it is egg-headed and sciencey enough for the geeks, I sure do believe!IntroductionDear Reader: (Spoiler alert!) This book is intended to be a counterpoint, or in total contrast, to "Independence Day". What if the invasion of the space aliens is a near-totally peaceful event? What if the aliens are benevolent and wise? I (the author) hate to say more, for fear of spoiling the story. As of the first publication date (May 2018) of "Graduation Day", the sequel, "Pay it Forward to DoubleAll", is envisioned but not yet written. The first two chapters here give context to the combined story and concepts of both "Graduation Day" and "Pay it Forward to DoubleAll", but to a slight degree, they're more-so related to "Pay it Forward to DoubleAll". In plain language, the first two chapters could easily be skipped, if you're a "TL; DR" type of reader... "Too Long, Didn't Read". Chapters 3 and on will give you the main thrust and all of the main characters of "Graduation Day".
