This book is a personal insight into my journey into the world of whiskey. It is not a dogmatic book. I do not intend to teach anyone how to enjoy a whiskey, or what aroma a certain bottle has or what they have to know or if it is good or bad. I intend, through subjectivity, to help each reader to enjoy their own whiskey. To value it. To remind you of moments, aromas and flavors that are personal to each one. Because the moment we pour ourselves a glass we make it ours. With our olfactory memory and our own experience of flavors. Ours, not the one we are told it should be. We will see a bit of the history of whiskey in Scotland. How it is made. And, above all, we will taste more than 70 different whiskeys. Scottish single malts and some Spanish. The most representative. The essentials to get started. I will give my tasting notes that will help you to have a reference when trying a new whiskey.
