Elspeth Duff Intuits... A beautiful young woman is found hanged from a chandelier at the new Kennington Udaipur hotel located in a former royal palace. Elspeth Duff, special security advisor to the Kennington Organisation, is sent out to India to investigate the circumstances that led up to the murder, although she resists the assignment at first. She becomes entangled in the filming of a Hollywood movie at the hotel and needs to find out why the murdered woman may not be the intended victim. Suffused with the splendour of India, its vibrant colours, contrasts, chaos, and social customs, Elspeth is filled with doubt that she can resolve the case and maintain stability in her own personal relationships.
