This book was written in response to the tremendous academic pressure students and families have experienced since the inception of the 2020 global pandemic. The challenges and uncertainty of attending school virtually or face to face caused students and their families to experience whirlwinds of change at unprecedented rates. This book uses the IMPACT Parenting framework, introduced in the author's 2018 release, IMPACT Parenting: Raising College-Ready Students, to help parents help their students get the education they deserve. Parents will be strengthened in the fundamentals of each of the five IMPACT domains: Investment, Management, Presence, Advocacy, Coaching and Thoughtfulness. These strategies do not address the virus directly, but they address the mindset and methods parents can take to ensure their child is prepared to take advantage of the educational opportunities available, even during a pandemic and other challenges of life.
