Kayla's Red Leaf J Dawn

"Kayla's Red Leaf" is the third in a series of Kayla's Adventures. Kayla, and her friends, find themselves stumbling into an exciting, underground adventure. Kayla needs to take a leaf to school for a class project. She finds a perfect, gorgeous, red leaf but that is where the adventure begins. Kayla meets two new friends on her Red Leaf Adventure. Digger is an adorable mole that is exploring the tunnels under the ginormous tree stump (book 2). Digger and Kayla also meet a baby turtle on this adventure but I do not want to spoil it by saying too much. The giant ant makes a cameo appearance in this Red Leaf adventure. The books in Kayla's Adventures tie together, and while best read in order, can be read out of order or singularly. Books 1-3 include characters: Kayla, little girl that loves exploring; Giant Ant, leader of an ant army and helps Kayla; Polly is a very wise roly-poly; Marcus, a little boy that goes to school with Kayla, Bright Butterfly, an adorable pink butterfly that joins in adventures, sometimes by accident; Digger, a mole that explores and digs out tunnels; Digger and a baby turtle join the crew in this book.
