After a short piano introduction in common time, the reflective hymn tune is introduced by the soloist in Concert Key of Db Major. The piano is featured in the second verse in a chromatic fashion, followed by verses of the hymn in the Concert Keys of Eb and F Major. The range is not extreme, rhythmic demands are very minimal which makes this a rather easy arrangement to put together and a popular choice for performances in many types of church services.
