Tokoro, a college student on the verge of graduating, meets Sunmi, the new girlfriend of his friend Dae-Suk. He quickly falls in love with this introspective young woman who has fallen for Dae-Suk. Marked by the wedding engagement of Dae-Suk and Sunmi, Tokoro decides to visit Sarajevo after graduating. Upon news that Sunmi has become mysteriously pregnant and Dae-Suk has disappeared, Tokoro travels back and forth between his hometown and Sarajevo, meeting with Sunmi.
