The symmetric scales, along with the modes from melodic minor, are another important color when it comes to jazz improvisation.

This book includes tabs and fretboard diagrams to the 3 most important scales of this type, in all possible keys and on the whole fingerboard, the way that makes the most sense for guitar:

the halftone-wholetone scale (for improvising over dominant chords)
the wholetone-halftone scale (for improvising over diminished as well as minor chords)
the wholetone scale (suitable for dominant chords)

Finally, as a little extra, the chromatic scale is also included.
