Finding Your Own Path: A Guide For Changing Your Life is meant to help individuals overcome the barriers of poverty. This book is primarily meant for high school students, but the lessons can be applied at any stage of life. Knowing that there are many obstacles which arise when someone tries to better their lives, I've attempted to give advice about what to do in those situations. This book is not meant to be a step-by-step process; rather, it is meant to provide a guidance and overarching principles to help individuals make positive life choices in order to obtain a more stable middle-class life for themselves and future families. Your success is fully in your control when you take the correct steps and understand that your decisions and actions play a big role in determining where you end up in life. The first step is taking ownership of you path in life. Others cannot and will not do it for you. This journey is yours alone.
