Zuri Walsh finds herself broken and lonely after years of blissfully leaning and depending on her drug dealing fiancée. Suddenly, she is abandoned without warning after Teheran Sr. is tragically gunned down in New Orleans La. After being stricken by massive depression and disappointment, Zuri decides to take her only son Teheran, Jr. to flee her heartache in hopes to start anew in Georgia. After touching down in the peach state Zuri falls for a physician by the name of Chance Aden. Bliss becomes them both until Zuri is confronted with the harsh realities of her new encountered love's secret condition. She quickly learns that escaping her life back home may have been less of a good idea than she'd thought.
