The mighty fortress of Maynard has fallen. A wizard hides within the depth of the holding, waiting to embark on a treacherous quest. The mythical Azure Stone has been hidden with the treasure trove of the stronghold. The stone that once brought prosperity to the realm of men, now threatens to bring certain doom. The stone must be returned to the Azure Mountain and the wizard has been called to complete the task. Unfortunately, he crosses paths with Kaleena of Maynard. As eldest daughter of the once mighty fortress Kaleena has defied her father and takes matters into her own hands. Through her actions she is forced to accompany the wizard on his quest. They are stalked by the warrior of the north, a man from the Azure Mountain who has been given a quest of his own. He is to take hold of the Azure Stone and return it to his people. Their dangerous quest is filled with mythical beasts, dark creatures from the north and a warrior that is to take hold of the stone at any cost.
