"Our Lady of the Gutters" is a memoir/novel that follows transgender queens, punk rockers, queers and other riff raff through the early (1978) San Francisco Punk Rock (first wave) and Queer scenes; following the eventual drug/alcohol addictions that lead through punk rock scenes and punk band life into prison (The Big Doll House), ending in freedom and recovery for the transgender queen lead character, Nikki Diamond, in 1990. Nikki Diamond, an up and coming Diva in the late 1970's-1980's San Francisco Punk Rock and Queer Art Music Underground Scene follows her worse instincts through the dark underground nights. Pimps, Transgender Queens, Punks, Anarchists, Hustler's and other shadow people are her only friend's and her inspiration. To achieve her own ends she must dethrone the ruling Diva, Our Lady of the Gutters. Nikki manipulates them all in an insane, sexual, erotic, dangerous tale in achieving full Divahood through a sexual encounter with a Murderer.
