Welcome to Dantiaus, the lovely swinging capital of Nephalis, home of demonkind and the city where her majesty, Lady Lucifer Morningstar, rules supreme. It's a place of magic, of mystery, and only mildly crippling traffic. Ten thousand years ago, in the war between Heaven and Hell, demon and angel, God and Devil alike were cast to the realm of mortals, and for ten thousand years, we've made this realm our home. You might also recall the other domains, the fiery pit, and the land of paradise. Yeah, those are gone, dust in the wind, and even the Old Lord of Heaven himself can't be bothered to pick up the pieces of that disaster. Oh, and in case anyone cares, my name is Belial, and I am one of Lady Lucifer's thirteen chosen Nobles. Ever since the fall, every generation the inheritance of the first blood finds a new host, heck, for most, it is a great honor and duty. For me, it just meant plenty of free time, great food, and countless headaches. Now, as for Dantiaus. We have so many places of interest and history; of course, we have the Palace, Lucifer's home. We also have The Library of Solomon, house to millennia-old tomes. Oh, and my personal highlight, the burned rubble of my favorite bar. The bar I happened to be in when someone blew it to bits. I mentioned that part, right? I was supposed to have a simple life, but no, now, I'm on the hunt for an ancient immortal threat that may or may not be responsible for what happened thousands of years ago. So, now as the second chair in her majesty's royal court, I, along with my fellow nobles, must save the world, or watch all of creation crumble to dust. I am the three-hundred and first generation of Belial, the lord of disaster. That is just another day in Dantiaus. The worst part of all of this, I have to do it sober.
