From the Slums to Social Justice H Rosales

Poetry is a guide to the understanding of other worlds. Although we may be from different cultures and backgrounds, we all share some of the same experiences and struggles. Through struggle, one learns to overcome. My poetry deals with issues of life in the inner city. The challenges we face are difficult but we can find our voices through social justice to create change in our world. At times, walking through darkness you cannot see the beauty around you. We struggle from within to escape the madness. My eyes have seen to much to stay shut. These poems are my interpretation of life through the eyes of the misunderstood, resurrection, and justice. Inner city ghettos are comprised of many cultures and peoples. Without unity and love, our situation will never change. H. Rosales
