Noman Santascoy, the vicious leader of the Track Pirates, fights for his life after a locomotive slams into him. His broken body is taken to the only place safe enough for a wanted fugitive - the veterinarian office run by Joselle, one of Santascoy's many lovers. While slowly mending, Santascoy broods over his large debt to Constantine Ruoff, a merciless mob boss with no qualms about killing. Revenge also occupies the Pirate King's mind - against the Rail Riders, and especially brothers Jam and Jax Trachsel, who thwarted his huge payday and decimated his beloved Pirate organization.
