What is it about Ebenezer Scrooge's journey that pulls us along, so that we might even learn the same lessons? Scrooge separates himself from the world, as we might do at times. But we see through his journey why it is important to be in relationship with each other and recognize each other's humanity. The many film adaptations reveal on another level why this story speaks to us so powerfully, and how we each can learn the lessons from the Spirits, as well as the Scriptures.
