Welcome to the sixth edition of Recurring Nightmares where eleven horror writers are gifted the names of a real person and told to do whatever they wanted - as long as those unspeakable acts contained a garden statue!

In the resulting stories, "Marisa" is troubled, tortured, and terrified. The owner of this name won the right from the Special Raffle Prize of the annual Monster Mash for Literacy Bash, hosted by the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writers.

She had the exquisite privilege to experience this unique madness, and the following writers were happy to oblige.
