AUTHOR BIOGRAPHYLinda Erskine is a dreamer and has lived her life in books and being inspired by them. A graduate of the Humber College School of Journalism, Linda has held positions as editor of trade magazines and community newspapers, but she felt she always had a book in her. This is just one of those books. Inspired by the antics of her boxer beast, Kao, and after an adventure that saw her travel from her native Canada to the wilds of West Lothian, Scotland, Linda wrote the first in the series of the George and Mildred stories to shed light on some of the issues that today's kids have to face. From bullying and standing up for themselves, to realizing that what holds them back is the fear of being themselves - that they are enough, Linda hopes that she has inspired even one person to realize their full potential, in all of their glory. Linda resides in West Lothian, Scotland, in a small miner's cottage with her boxer beast Kao, her extensive library and a slew of family and friends, who continue to inspire her as she embarks on her latest journey.
