'David and the Asteroid' continues six years after the end of the Earth Force and Mars Laser War. Earth and Mars are ruled administratively by the aliens called the Stewards. A "dinosaur killer" size asteroid is on a collision trajectory towards Earth. The Steward Overseers' Council has grown weary of cleaning up after the "too independent" Humans. They decide to let the Humans and the Earth be destroyed. Victor and JoAnn Barnes return to Earth to help Nations United President, Jim Mathews, take control of the Steward Overseers' galaxy class spaceship, the Andromeda. Nations United's spaceship, the Newton, and the Mars based spaceship, the Pegasus, join the Andromeda crew to form the Asteroid Diversion Team. Buckle in and join the Asteroid Diversion Team in their quest to save the Earth.
