The Third book Continuing the saga! On the world of Xutec, the dry season brings the call of the gathering. The tribes must meet in their once-a-season gathering to marry, separate, exchange goods, arts, crafts, weapons, and trade power stones. Before then, each tribe must use their beast talkers to request creatures near and far to offer themselves as willing modes of transportation because the way to thegathering is long, sweltering, and fraught with perils. Jason, Marena, and Ben in the meantime must continue to deal with the fewmembers of the tribe who would rather kill them than allow them to be part of their savage world. Even though the dry season is here, the tropical rainforest can still attract torrential storms, not to mention the continuing danger of half-man, half-animalcreatures sporadically terrorizing the daily hunting parties, theirs, and other tribes.
