The annual Fall Fair is one of the biggest social events held in town by the church. But what's even bigger? The pie contest held at the Fall Fair, and Maven Simmons is determined to win it this year. Of course, as her daughter, Beulah "Cookie" Simmons, will do everything in her power to support her Mama in the contest. Even if it means taste tasting everything and entering the church's fashion show. But what Beulah doesn't expect is for there to be a mystery at the Fall Fair! Fights are breaking out between the pie ladies, secrets are around every corner, arguments over money, and worse of all, Mama is accused of murder at the Fall Fair! Can Cookie and her siblings come together and solve the mystery to prove that Mama is innocent? Or will Mama have to finally share her sweet potato pie recipe from behind bars?
