In 1997, Keara McCune has no family. In her quest to find her family roots, she befriends Tady O'Niall through email. When Tady takes his online friendship with Keara offline and introduces her to his childhood friends, Ruairi and Terry, Keara finds the ties she has with one pull as strongly as the attraction she has to the other. As an American, she is pulled into a modern day troubled Northern Ireland near the time of Samhain; All Hallow's Eve.
