Simple Science Made Complicated

These are notes I compiled while I was studying for my GCSEs in 2009. I did not particularly enjoy science, though I achieved A*s in Biology and Physics, and an A in Chemistry. Check out www.walkingdoctortonnan.com to hear/see/read my art. If you are capable of memorising and understanding these 7200 words, you are probably unlikely to fail additional science. I used to be quite clumsy, so I got a bad grade on an experiment after a bad chemistry teacher started pressurising me to hurry up while I was working with an actual real-life model(!) on an experiment many people have completed many times already. My dad Jon is the probably best scientist I personally know, but I am the only remaining soul in my family who claims to speak fluent French... so, really, what's the use? "In order to get in another word with you, I'd have to come up with some excuse."I hope this makes science a little easier, and encourages you to pursue it. Although I had quite good teachers - my physics teacher Jon Richardson was an especially inspiring man - I prefer the written word and song and visual art. But science is what makes these things possible
