Idylwyld-A Life in Poetry, is a collection of poems presented in chronological order, from 1990 to 1998. In other words, these are the thoughts, feelings, and creative jottings from my early twenties to age thirty-nine. These are not all the poems that I wrote during those years. Even though some of the writing would never survive the light of day, I included them as a representation of the evolvement in my mode of expression. This collection of work is a guilty pleasure, solely for my enjoyment. I do not expect any acclaim. There are a few rough gems in the mix that I enjoy reading time-and-time again, such as Rainbow, Dark Diamonds, Penny Cycle Down, and The Artist and the Priest
