Why focus on the tiny crack leaking water in the corner of the ceiling when a beast threatens to crush all of humanity? But once said beast is slayed, the roof's crack goes unnoticed still. Just growing wider and wider, encompassing more and more of the world we call home. And though it's tragic, it takes the roof to finally fall through before we see the darkness lurking beyond, that may have started out small, but has been there all along. And now, it is too big to miss.
