This book entitled, Regional Geography of Senegambia, stems from a third-year course that I have taught for nine years at the University of The Gambia. The book is designed primarily as a textbook for teaching Geography of Senegambia in order to fill the vacuum caused by the dearth of really good books on Geography of Senegambia. Although, the book is primarily meant for the undergraduate students in geography, yet students doing diploma courses at tertiary institutions and those preparing for West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Exams in Geography will find the book very useful. Care has been taken to deal with the whole gamut of Senegambia so that the book aptly served the desired purpose. The book is written in a simple, clear style to enable students to draw maximum benefit from its use.
