Trouble attracted the Old Dogs, and trouble's victims sought them out when all other avenues to justice were blocked. Times may have changed, but man's ability to inflict harm on the Earth and its residents remained a constant. The two surviving Old Dogs faced down a cold-blooded creature in the southern Gulf of Mexico who felt only two emotions: hatred and despair. In the process, Old Dogs Christopher Garcia and Frank James discovered how piracy, long romanticized in Hollywood, evolved into a criminal enterprise, characterized by ultraviolence, fueled by impunity, insensitivity and indifference. Soon enough, these modern-day buccaneers would learn a hard lesson: "Justice may be slow, but it's inevitable."
