The Nefarious Nomenclature of Norman Nigglebottom is the 15th collection of Tales From the Dougside comic strips from creator Douglas Arthur. This titanic tome is jam-packed with a unique blend of improv comics done in the Negatives style that Doug pioneered in 2015. Improv comics are an experimental brand of comics where the cartoonist takes a blank sheet of paper and with no pre-thought, must create a completed comic strip within 10-15 minutes. Negatives are unique in that the artist uses white ink on black paper. This creates a unique look that plays with the way we see positive and negative spaces. The process may sound high-falutin', but the end result is a humorous and slightly surreal look at the world around us, in the grand tradition of Gahan Wilson and Basil Wolverton.
