Serving five years into his life sentence he is transferred to the Pennsylvania Prison System and awaiting his appeal. Prison offers religious freedom, educational development and in the 1990's and opportunity to write and create. Millions of inmates grow old and useless in a system overrun. with inmates and no real opportunity to reintegration and reform.
