Year 1448. Witch hunts slowly erupting throughout whole world. Murder, torture and stench of death is slowly filling the air of every land. So called witches, mages, herbalists or inventors are considered evil, devil worshipers, satanists no matter their real intentions. Everyone is trying to hide or is on the run. They seek safety wherever they can. Some are trying to hide among normal citizens, hiding their talent and living empty lives. Others are looking for shelter in solitude far away from civilized world. Most of them are searching for a legend. A city hidden from the world. A place where they can truly find shelter and safety. Bog Reef. A city built deep in the crowns of trees inside the dark northern woods. In the city stands pubs, inns and other establishments producing all the vices that most of citizens fall into and became slaves of their own lust and greed. Throughout the city people can find many places to satisfy their needs but one of them sticks out just by name. The pub named Deaf Bear have a story that every citizen of Bog Reef is familiar with.
