Demeter grows tired of being the dutiful mother to Persephone. She desires nothing more than to see her daughter married off to the god of her choice, so the goddess of the grain can share her cottage with her lover instead of her daughter. Persephone has known of her fate for too many years to count. But she is not ready to become the dutiful wife Apollo has foreseen in his visions. Luckily, Hades has always been patient. The young goddess knows she cannot keep him waiting forever. She often wonders if Hermes will be able to let her go when the time comes. Will she be able to set the messenger god aside the day she becomes Queen of the Underworld?
