What is Mentor-Coaching? Mentor-Coaching is a process by which we can empower others through healthy relationships, mentoring, and coaching to provide opportunities for gaining knowledge, wisdom, application and support/accountability. What is Mentor-Coaching Skills Training? This Participant's Workbook has been designed as a companion to the day and half Mentor-Coaching Skills Training offered through Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. During this training, you are introduced to information, concepts, and hands-on experiences to help you:1. Understand what mentor-coaching is and how it is similar to and different from other people-helping processes.2. Understand and apply mentor-coaching values to their sphere of influence.3. Learn and practice the foundational skills and competencies of mentor-coaching.4. Gain an awareness and understanding of the importance of building trust in a mentor-coaching relationship. 5.
