After hearing that her lost brother might be in Wonderland, Winnie begs Seamus Daragh who has access to that realm to take her there. He reluctantly agrees, and they set off on an adventure where she faces vampirates, lost children, Peter Pan, a mad queen, and an annoying cat. However, along the way, she realizes that her close friend, Seamus, has many faces. Some of which are seductive. Some which are confusing. And some that stir feelings that she shouldn't have. And one that could kill her.

In this side adventure from her main story, Winnie learns an important lesson about finding herself. She also learns more about the fight that she must return to in Steelshore. The problem is she might not get out of Wonderland alive. The madness threatens to take Seamus, her key to getting home. And old enemies surface looking to take revenge.

This is the first in a collection of side stories following the characters of the Trailverse built by Kimbra Swain. Never to Wonder takes place in conjunction with the events in Midnight Rider, book two of the Dog River Wolfpack series.
