Sarah Sue is a precocious little girl, who begs her mother for a new pair of shoes! She promises to take good care of them, but wears them out to play and steps in a puddle. After placing them to dry by the furnace in the basement, she finds her new shoes melted and gooey, but after trying them on, amazingly she can walk up the walls and on ceilings.
