For our busy 21st century lives as Christians, these musings look over the shoulders of great Christians of the past, both in Scripture and from those who felt the inward longing and did something about it. Through the years, I have gathered rich nuggets from those who have gone before us and paved the way to increase awareness of God's presence. With "Cultivating Enjoyment of God's Presence," I invite you to follow the pioneers who have blazed the way for us, like Brother Lawrence in the 17th century, Andrew Murray in the 19th century, and Frank Laubach and A. W. Tozer in the 20th century. I also added very practical exercises to make this a companion for you as God paints His own life on the depths of your inner being, especially through the Psalms. Each chapter is a short 4-page devotional for easier access and reflection.
