This arrangement of the well-known Welsh lullaby and hymn, Ar Hyd y Nos, requires the Grade 3 technical skills, range, and maturity of high school or college-level performers and accomplished pianist. After a short introduction, the melodic hymn tune theme is introduced in Concert Key of Bb Major. Later, it modulates to C Major. The range is not extreme, rhythmic demands are minimal, and the tune, which is well known, makes this an easy piece to put together and a popular choice for performances in many types of church services, even during the Christmas season. This volume contains a piano score accompanying a C Instrument in Bass Clef.
