Black and Bound Linda Maria

Previously published as Black and Blind by Linda Maria, this collection of poetry is separated into three parts. In the first section titled "Black American," powerful metaphors are used to describe the adversities and injustices that come as a result of systemic racism in America. The following section "Struggle Love," sheds light on the interpersonal struggles within black relationships. In the final section, "Write to Live" the works paint a vivid image of the authors innermost feelings and conflicts.
