Scrindle Flyingbucket and his three friends are the potential saviours of the bickering God Family. All they have to do is recover the important bits of a Harmony Belt, pieces of which were given to different life-forms to aid in the evolution of the planet. After a lot of trouble getting there, they arrive in the World of Animals. Unfortunately, their target, the Rock of Harm, has already been stolen. They are invited to help the animal leaders find the missing celestial treasure. Its loss is linked a series of local murders, and Scrindle decides to introduce some traditional quaint-old-fashioned-rural-village-murder-techniques to prevent overpowering evil ruining the planet. Snowballs and very hot ovens come to mind
