Max Landau leads a double life. He is a recognized young scientist but very few know him as the creator of the dematerialization technology that allows him to access any place while intangible. Max has tremendous opportunities right at his fingertips but has to carefully hide his invention to protect it from those who harbor evil intentions. Nonetheless, sooner or later, all secrets are revealed: a cult of professional assassins starts a hunt for Max's technology. When it seems that nothing can protect Max from an unequal fight with his fanatical enemy, Osiris-a man who has been living in the intangible state for thousands of years-comes to his rescue. Under his mentorship, Max undergoes special training and learns to operate "body-less."
