On the bank of Arapahoe Creek, along the foothills of snow-covered mountains in Colorado, two homeless men spy a bundle of material. Curiosity causes them to cross over the bridge to examine it. When it moves, they discover a young teenage girl clinging to a baby. In an attempt to help, the men plead for her to go to the nearby rescue mission; but in fear, she runs away and disappears. The young mother's boyfriend has a criminal record, been the leader of a street gang, and was responsible for her dilemma. He seeks endlessly for her, angry that she took off. The mission's warehouse manager learns that his sister is missing, but doesn't think she is homeless and doesn't connect the teenager and baby found along the creek to be her. In desperation, he becomes obsessed with finding his sister. What happened to her? Why won't she come home to her parents? When he learns the truth of her disappearance, he searches for the boyfriend hoping to find her with him. Conflict arises when the boyfriend is found, creating fear and intrigue. Is she and the baby alive? If so, who will save them?
