The winds of change have blown through Cayuga Cove, dropping Vivienne into a world familiar and yet quite different from what had been before. With the very fabric of time changed by the Elder Council due to her previous actions, she has no memory of her magical abilities or past life as a practicing witch. Mrs. Vivienne Patterson lives comfortably as a working mother to a tween daughter and teen son, selling real estate and sharing a spacious lake home with her husband of fifteen years, Kevin. While going about her perfectly planned schedule of school fundraisers, soccer practice, and dress shopping for the Valentine's Day dance, she yearns of a life more adventurous. Something to shake up the everyday routine of domestic bliss. Her wish comes true when a dream home she recently sold a client turns out to be the thing nightmares are made of. They claim it is haunted and pester her non-stop with angry phone calls and emails that she did not disclose the information before the sale was finalized. Before Vivienne can refute such a ridiculous claim, a grisly discovery is made in the basement while the new owners are excavating the floor to add a wine cellar. Skeletal remains of the previous owners, thought lost at sea in their sailboat during a storm two years ago, are found and the evidence points to murder. Soon after, Vivienne begins to experience her own paranormal events that all seemed linked to a strange book discovered in her recently deceased grandmother's belongings. Haunted by visions of things strangely familiar and yet odd, her adventure leads down a twisted path that could very well lead to her own demise!
