The people of Osai knew nothing of dragons until the black dragon T'skourtke arrived. They learned quickly, and the dragon had been trapped in the mountain. A century later, T'skourtke has discovered a way to escape his prison. His plans will have dire consequences for all of the northern kingdoms. Far to the south in the Oktoman Empire, a man is born with draconic magic. Through this man, the mysterious entity known as the King of Shadows sees an opportunity for retribution against the black dragon and the furthering of the shadow's agenda.
